Since duno when I've already stop blogging...and now is the beginning of the cow yr perhaps it's time I gif a new start for me to start blogging again...

2008 somehow was a great yr for me - manage to graduate and found a job and even went to Korea in Dec! It was indeed a very eye opening experience for me to expose to a totally different culture.

How time flies and it's 2009 which means I'm already 24...can't believe it and I still feel so lost now...it seem everyday I'm juz lookin to knock off time and dash back home had my dnr watch some tv and sleep and it's next day again...it juz a vicous cycle...perhaps I still haven (dun wan to) get pass the transition period from a carefree student n now officially enter the pratical world...

Resolution of the year
1. Find a direction in my career
2. Clear my study loan
3. Save up more and (hopefully) get my home sweet home
4. To be more vocal n open up to ppl (sometimes I feel i'm like a hermit crab wanted to be alone in my own world...)
5. Travel at least to one country

DAY 1

1st time traveling overseas solely with friends and there’s onli e 3 of us haha

*: playing poker n chitchatting during e flight

:*: we were so hungry tt after check in we immediately went for dnr n went walking ard ximending in search for gd food but turn out we juz happen to c this cute café so jux went in eat.

:*: After went huaxi ye shi walk ard n as u can c we are still hungry after e dnr.
I was so turn on by e little twin star helmet sia really v nice lor. Too bad I dun haf scooter if not tin I’ll really buy it sia.

DAY 2

:*: Well we have e same prob again...indecisive in dining so morning we went for food hunting n finally decide upon e donut shop and as e upper storey was empty (with onli 1 guy finishin his meal) we wasted no time in foto-takin e ve moment he went off ahhah~
After went to try e famous ah zong mian xian at ximending.

:*: after e meal we went to go one of e underground shops but was not open yet (tt was wat we assumed since all e shutters were down).

:*: we den proceed to wu fen pu n rao he ye shi for shoppin but apparently we were more attracted to e food instead. There was a part whereby we had to cross a overhead bridge n as we were climbin up e stairs an auntie approached us n told us to be careful as there was a pervert at e bridge n tt really freak me out as I become v skeptical upon every man I saw walkin past us on e bridge.

DAY 3

:*: We attempted to conquer yang ming shan but oh my....it was really too much for me to take sia....so tiring lor. There was a part we tried climbin up a narrow n like never ending route n was surrounded by 4,5 dogs....scary sia luck they never come n chased us haha
Despite we din really completed e route we never fail to entertain ourselves =)

:*: After getting so perspired n sticky, we went for hotspring. Lucky yl managed to find online promotion so we managed to get a private at discounted price which was lik S$15 each onli for 1 hr. Feel so energized n radiant after it.

:*: We den go to yu ren ma tou to shop for sightseeing n e fried jing zhen gu was superb sia

:*: Shilin ye shi was den e final stop of e day whereby we enjoyed good food hehe

DAY 4

:*: We went kee lung n was bluff by e hotel staff sayin e trip was abt 45 min turn out 1+hr lor but e return trip was faster tin lesser stop ba (lesson of day – if u haf any doubts always clarify w e hotel staff counter in e day coz more reliable)

There are a lot of variety of good food n e 3 brother snow ice really MUST try sia simply love it!

DAY 5

:*: We were supposed to go to mao kong but it was rainy so plan cancel den we juz went to shop around n EAT~

DAY 6

:*: Eh forgotten e exact places where we went le all I rmb is eat n shop haha

We mention before how couples during e 1st 3 mths is honeymoon period n those dating v long le will like become lao fu lao qi n so happen tt yl managed to saw a magazine w a topic on this.

:*: We even bump onto lin yu jia’s qian ming hui.

:*: These cakes really looked good onli...taste not v nice.

:*: NOno we r not checkin into e hotel is e KTV

DAY 7

:*: Back to Singapore. Some random pic.

Day 1 – Welcome to Gold Coast!

We arrived e Chevron Tower ard 10+am (oh Brisbane was 2hrs ahead spore) after abt 7hrs of flight n abt 2hr journey from e airport and was unable to check in as e room is still under cleaning. (Oh we stayed in service apartment not hotels where it’s like a 3 room apartment.)

Since we cant check in, we went for breakfast n it cost abt 80bucks for pancakes, toast, some bacons, sausage, mushrooms, 4 glasses of juice…

Took a walk at e famous beach…

N after a grocery trip n more waitin, we r FINALLY able to check in…(hurray ~ it was ard 2pm liao)

Took a bath, had a nice nap n it was dnr time so we went sourcing for chinese eatery as dx family r not used to eatin western food. Well a plate of normal fried rice tt cost 10.50 u shld expect e dnr cost near 100bucks le…

Day 2- Sea World

Watched sea lions, surfers n dolphin performances n it’s really amazing to c e connection b/w e dolphin n their trainers.

Seem like e kids r more interested in e ice-cream haha

Day 3 – Fruit Farm

It was quite a boring day…We waited abt 1hr for the coach n guess wat, honey world was closed tt day n chocolate factory gt some probe n shut dwn too. Boo~

so end up we juz went sightseeing e lighthouse and e fruit farm where we get to sample some fruits…n tt's all coz it was pouring…

Day 4 – Australia Zoo

It’s oso known as Steve Irwin’s Zoo. Took pics of animals n get close contact w e kangaroos n watched e crocs performance.

Day 5 - Paradise Conuntry Farm

Tin this is where e fun really starts…

For the every 1st time I actually get to feed the kangaroos, carry a real sheep in my arms and touch e koala bear!! It was so amazing!

Since we were back in e hotel ard 3+pm, we had a rest tata! Me, dx n his sis went to explore e stores ard e tower which means… SHOPPING!! Haha

Most of e stores were v ex lo…50% discount liao still cost 60+bucks for a normal top. But lucky we manage to find 2 or 3 shops w/n our budget de n I gt myself few tops, 2 shades (my 1st 2 sunnies wo) n stuff for my mum n bro. Dx kept rushin us coz we had to meet his family back at e service apartment for dnr.

Day 6 – Movie world

Oh my god! It totally rocks e every moment I stepped into it! Gt to watch 4-D motion shrek movie where the seats will move according to the scenes required n there was a scene whereby the dragon sneeze n there’s really droplets of water fell onto us.

I was so excited when I saw the Chocolate Factory store but was abit disappointed whn I saw the candies inside were well e common ones we can get easily. ( Can’t blame me to actually thot I might get to find those candies mentioned by the bk right since it’s Willy Wonka & e chocolate factory~)

I was nervous to stand beside Mr Willy Wonka as u can c from e space b/w me n him haha ( his height is quite domineering)

Welcome to Scooby Doo’s spooky castle! Woo hoo~

it’s actually an indoor roller coaster in almost complete darkness n there was whereby e ride will get elevated up n we were facing e wall wondering where we’ll go next whn suddenly a force juz pull us behind n up n dwn we goes n the turns r really vigorous sia but it was fun.

Well it’s e only ride I dared to take besides e kids section de...haha n I din noe it was roller coaster beforehand.

Oh yah did I mention all e rides have a story line? It will be either on a quest or a sudden scenario n voom! It’s v innovative n interesting.

Day 7- goodbye Gold Coast n hello Singapore

Was feelin abit bu she de coz really enjoyed this trip n e life there is really v different from e hectic lifestyle of Singapore as most of e shops start to close at 5pm n everytin is so slow paced n worry-free….however e negative part is everytin there was soooo expensive ~ so far for all e meals cost at least abt 100+bucks lo…standard of livin is way too high liao. On e whole, this trip has definitely brought me closer to dx family...
